Key milestones in the company's growth
PT Java Gas Indonesia (PT JGI) commenced natural gas distribution in East Java in June 2012, sourced from Kangean Energy Indonesia Limited.
PT IA broadened its presence in East Java by establishing PT Inti Alasindo Energy (PT IAE).
PT IAE secured an appointment as one of the buyers for a 20-year gas contract with a natural gas supplier, Husky CNOOC Madura Limited (HCML).
PT IA acquired PT Surya Cipta Internusa (SCI), which held a 9-year contract, and began its operations in June 2012.
PT IA further extended its reach in East Java by establishing PT Alas Energy Indonesia (PT AEI). In 2009, PT AEI secured a 10-year contract as a gas buyer for 14 BBTUD from Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO) and commenced operations in March 2011.
In accordance with government regulations, the business entities in the East Java area—PT JGI, PT SCI, PT AEI, and PT IAE—were merged into PT IAE.
